SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Refresh your wardrobe with brand-name clothing, shoes and handbags while supporting women’s programs at Dress for Success Sioux Falls. Their Spring Closet Sale takes place from 9 a.m. to noon at the EmBe downtown gym. Their bag sale goes from 1-3 p.m.

Flutterfest at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls includes a live butterfly display, pollinator bingo plus take-home pollinator seed packets. The hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is a zoo admission.

Farmers Market season in KELOLAND includes the Falls Park Farmers Market at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Brandon Farmers Market goes from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 925 North Splitrock Boulevard. The farmers markets are held each Saturday through October.

It’s a full day of music at Levitt at the Falls in downtown Sioux Falls. The local group, El Grupo Cascada will be joined by special guests from the Levitt Latin Jam Camp at 10:30 a.m. That’s followed by a Kunama Cultural Festival beginning at 6 p.m. featuring music and arts. Tonight’s headliner is singer and musician Faytinga. The Siyaba and Nimena Bands are the opening acts.

Anglers of all ages are invited to enjoy free fishing at Family Park in Sioux Falls from 9-11 a.m. All gear will be provided.

Water rescue at Huset’s Speedway

The Whittier Neighborhood Block Party includes face-painting, inflatables, crafts and plenty of food. It’s taking place at Meldrum Park in Sioux Falls from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event wraps up with volunteers helping Whittier residents with yard work and minor home repairs through the Rock the Block program.

The Sioux Area 4-H Rodeo is taking place at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls. The action gets underway at 10 a.m. in the D. Pirrung Family Arena. The rodeo runs through Sunday.

Quarry Days in Dell Rapids, SD include a parade at 10 a.m., a kids carnival in the city park from 1-3 p.m., a wonton eating contest at 5 p.m. and a street dance starting at 7 p.m. Quarry Days end on Sunday.

Movies playing at the historic State Theater in downtown Sioux Falls include The Wizard of Oz, rated PG, plus Black Panther and Titanic, both rated PG-13.

Films playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium in the Washington Pavilion include Wings Over Water, Magic Globe, Experience the Aurora and Cities of the Future.

New movie releases playing at a theater near you include Thelma, rated PG-13 plus The Exorcism and The Bikeriders, both rated R.
