SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Sioux Falls Little League team continued its fun in Williamsport, Penn., today as they’re just one day away from their first game of the Little League World Series.

The team got the chance to be part of the Little League World Series parade this afternoon, where thousands of fans came out to show support for all of the teams. The event has been run first class according to coach Nick Kortan, who has had the chance to watch first hand how the event celebrates the young athletes.

“That for me has been one of the more enjoyable parts. Just standing in the back of the line, letting the boys go and watching their reactions. Seeing the way they react to these different things that are all surprises to them,” Kortan said.

South Dakota will play Florida on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
