SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Colorful flags filled Phillips Avenue Saturday morning in Sioux Falls for the annual pride parade.

Floats and people took to the streets to celebrate Pride Month.

One parade goer says their favorite part was meeting other people in the LGBTQ+ community.

“Hands down all the people, the new people like it to me. I get to make so many friends at this time of the year and I always carry through all the way. It’s all next pride and beyond. So it’s just it’s a good time to socialize and meet other people like me,” Sioux Falls Pride Parade participant KC Swach said.

After the parade people headed to the birdcage where there were booths, food trucks, and vendors.
