SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is hosting Badges and Bobbers. There will be fishing and archery at Lake Ole in Harrisburg from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hot dogs will be served for lunch.

The Summer Concert Series at Good Earth State Park southeast of Sioux Falls features Jetley Park. The music starts at 4 p.m. A park entrance license is required. Seating is limited so you may want to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.

Buffalo Days wrap up in Luverne, MN with a baseball tournament, hikes through Blue Mounds State Park, plus afternoon dance recitals and an ice cream social.

The City of Sioux Falls’ outdoor pools are open for the season. They’re located at Drake Springs, Terrace, Frank Olson, Kuehn, Laurel Oak, McKennan, Hayward and Pioneer parks. The hours are 1-8 p.m.

Another outdoor option is Wild Water West water park west of Sioux Falls. Visitors can enjoy the water slides, lazy river, wave pool plus upgrades to the mini-golf course from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

American Legion Post 15 in Sioux Falls is hosting an all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast. Serving time is 8:30 a.m. to noon at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance. The cost is $8, $2 for children. Donations are also welcome.

SD bridal parties are younger on average

Women: A Century of Change is a traveling exhibit of images taken by National Geographic photographers on display at the Washington Pavilion’s Everist Gallery of the Visual Arts Center. The exhibit runs through the end of the month.

Also at the Pavilion, the Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium are featuring Wings Over Water, Magic Globe, Experience the Aurora and Cities of the Future.

Movies playing at the historic State Theater in downtown Sioux Falls include Tarzan, rated G, The Sting, rated PG and Caddyshack, rated R.

New movie releases playing at a theater near you include Summer Camp, rated PG-13 and In a Violent Nature, rated R.

The Canaries baseball team takes on the Sioux City Explorers at Sioux Falls Stadium. First pitch is at 4:05 p.m.

It’s race night at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, SD. Gates open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. The races start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, free for ages 12 and under.
